Janice was so helpful at the register and able to answer all of our questions! The food was fantastic as usual and the Cheese Biscuits are always a must.

Sajuan and Henry was very accommodating and gave great customer service. I had the Mr. Jim's combo plate with the smoked chicken and brisket, because I couldn't make up my mind on which sauce I wanted I told him I wanted a white and barbecue sauce on the side so I could see what the white sauce was all about and I was not disappointed. The white sauce is just as good as the barbecue sauce! Portions were adequate, I got full. All the meats were tender. The service was great. I highly recommend this place. Oh yeah, the macaroni was baked and not something you would get out of the box. My only complaint, but not really a complaint is that I like my greens with less sugar but it was delicious anyways P.S please get some Louisiana Hot Sauce
The food tastes really good here. I was driving and had to stop ... even though I was not hungry. We gat the Pig in the Garden. The best smoke chicken ever in a salad! My ranch barbecue salad dressing was on point! I was disappointed that the tea was tasteless and Dave Lemonade tasted like lemon water. But they serve the best pulled barbecue, ribs and everything else!
Haven't been to Jim and Nick's in a few months..... wow, what a difference a few months make! They had an interior makeover during this time!! They now have a counter for ordering, a separate counter for to go orders, and a shelf for online order pick up....the new set-up is very with the time! We have not eaten inside Jim and Nick's in a while, so this review is purely reflective of our takeout experiences here, which there have been several in the past year. They started family meals called "Feast in a Flash" during the pandemic. These feasts are our go-to's when we do takeouts here. Each feast is designed for about four people. We like to get two feasts when we order from here so there would be a variety and then we also have enough for leftovers. Our favorites are their turkey and rib feasts. Each feast comes with two sides and your choice of biscuits or buns. Obviously we always get their cheese biscuits....who would choose buns over biscuits here?? I like to call and order over the phone, but I believe you can also order online. The ordering process is easy and the food is ready in about 15 minutes - so very efficient. The portion size is fair for the price and I think a much better deal than their individual entrees. Because of these feasts, we definitely eat more J&N now than we used to!
